"Get ready for the marathon of this work." -Aaron Johnson

This week’s episode reflects the #amplifymelanatedvoices movement. Aaron Johnson, Porsha Beed, and Jennie Pearl of Holistic Resistance join Christina to talk about their work to build lifelong relationships to create skills around dismantling racism and oppression, which includes workshops, mentorships, and song circles. They use deep questions and connection to create lasting embodied change. Today, they share songs of hope and love (and singing along is definitely encouraged.) We hope this pause for embodiment and singing provides a moment of respite amongst the deluge of information, news, and resources.

Oppression doesn't pause during a pandemic...it only ramps up. The Reach Fund is organized by white folx in the Holistic Resistance network to provide emergency and supportive funds for People of Color impacted by coronavirus. Please consider donating to Aaron and Porsha's community if you felt moved by this podcast.
