Both in her novels and her small non-fiction books We Should All Be Feminists and Dear Ijeawele, or A Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions, Adichie addresses issues of power, violence, independence and the role of literature in understanding and expanding one\\u2019s view of the world.
