Is Trelane a Q? Certainly this was never the intent when Paul\\nSchneider penned the TOS episode \\u201cThe Squire of Gothos.\\u201d But in the\\nyears since, the literary world of Star Trek has retconned the good\\ngeneral (retired), endowing him with the powers of the Continuum\\nand a backstory to go with it.
