If you haven't watched The Resident yet, you should. I started watching this show during Season 2 I believe, or right before Season 2 premiered, and it is fantastic. I love medical dramas that deal more with the patients than with the love interest between the doctors, no shade but not my type of show. The shows that I have loved in this genre have been The Night Shift, New Amsterdam, and The Resident. It has such an amazing cast and so well written, it keeps you on the edge of your seat at times. You can binge all 4 seasons on Hulu and Season 5 premiers on September 21, 2021 and apparently has some big changes starting off, including another main cast member exiting the show. 

The Code Blue (scrubsmag.com):

Ingredients 

• 1 part blue curacao liqueur
• 2 parts bitter lemon soda
• Ice cubes

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients in a highball glass.
2. Stir.
3. Garnish with a slice of lemon.

Take a drink if:

• The chief of surgery’s hands shake
• Anyone says “Harvard"
• The intern doesn’t listen to the resident
• Sexy time in the on call room
• A patient that comes in is best buds with the resident
• A rapid or code is called
• Anybody dies
• The intern texts his wife/girlfriend
• The chief of surgery talks about money

Take two drinks if:

• The resident gets his scrubs dirty or hair messed up
• The resident is on tinder
• The resident explains his mysterious past to anyone

Finish your drink:

• If it ever shows the resident writing a medical note
• If you ever figure out what kind of resident he actually is
