Marrying Millions

My friend Alison and I discuss Lifetime’s show Marrying Millions about several couples, one being wealthy and one that’s not wealthy. I discovered this show during the beginning of quarantine, the things you find and watch when you have nothing else to do. I will say that this show did not disappoint, I was hooked and binged this show fairly quickly. There are 10 episodes available, which I watched on Hulu.

This show has couples from Texas, California, Ohio, and Nevada, with some age gaps and some that are closer in age, a friend of a daughter, a former hostess, a couple that met on sugardaddy.com, a "producer" and "rapper", etc. I'm sure this show isn't something most of us would watch, but I say give it a shot. Pretty sure one couple is lying about money, one also shows to be an actor when you look online, and one looks like a ripped Kenny G.

In honor of this show, why not make yourself a Sugar Daddy Shot (or add more to make it a cocktail):

  • 1 part Irish Cream
  • 1 part Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 part Butterscotch Schnapps
  • 1 part Half & Half
  • Rim: Caramel Syrup, Sugar
  1. Rim edge of shot glasses with caramel syrup and sugar. Set aside.
  2. In an ice filled glass combine Irish cream, coffee liqueur, butterscotch schnapps and half and half. Shake well to mix.
  3. Garnish inside of shot glasses with caramel syrup and stain mix inside.
