Sarah Spencer and her husband Lee have lived in Andalucia for the past 10 years. Sarah is best described as having a portfolio career, as she works as a research company project manager, writer of music reviews, and the co-founder of a company selling eco projects. She is also a mother and finds the time to attend ballet classes. 

Since moving to Spain in 2008, Sarah has lived in a number of Andalucia’s villages and now lives and works in Casares Costa. 

In 2012, when Sarah was 7 months pregnant, her husband had a serious motorcycle accident that resulted in his having one leg amputated below the knee, and this brought into question their lives here in Spain. However, since the accident, the family have dealt with the challenges of life abroad and consider this country to be very much their home.
