The Life Story of Julie Chimes is a fascinating one. Julie's mother was a former Miss Great Britain and her step-Father was the comedian Max Wall. Through a lucky break, Julie became a successful racing driver and then pursued an equally successful career in advertising before her life was interrupted suddenly and violently. In her own home, Julie was attacked and stabbed 35 times but managed to escape. Such a violent attack left long-lasting physical and emotional scars and as part of her recovery process, Julie wrote about her experience in "Stranger in Paradise". Julie now lives in the coastal town of Almuñecar, in Granada Province.
