Jess Draskau-Petersson has an impressive CV. She is a lecturer in Human Rights and Environmental Law, and has spent half of her adult life in the law and working as an HR professional and a Management Consultant for companies such as Price Waterhouse Coopers. The second half of her life has been spent as a championship athlete. Jess is a two-times Olympian and has competed in Marathons and Triathlons around the world.

Jess has Danish and Manx nationality and despite her success both in the corporate and athletics worlds, she has overcome a number of challenges that threatened to scupper her careers. Prior to both Olympic Games, she was involved in motor accidents that restricted her training. 

Jess now lives in Alhama de Granada, away from the cut and thrust of corporate life. She still competes in athletics and trains fellow athletes. Jess also runs a retreat in the stunning Granada countryside.
