Life Stories with Gayle Macdonald
Moving to southern Spain was supposed to be the start of a new and exciting life for Gayle Macdonald and her husband. However, the way of life and a need to escape the perceived challenges and stresses of everyday life in rural eastern Granada lead Gayle to rely increasingly on alcohol.
A decision to live a life without alcohol resulted in a new lease of life, where Gayle could finally dedicate time to her children, concentrate on her teaching job and launch the support and advice business, ‘Sober Bliss’.
Gayle talks candidly about her life with and without alcohol and how she now helps people who may find themselves using alcohol as a way of coping.
