How to Receive from God - The Holy Spirit

And if anyone does not have the Spirit of\\nChrist, he does not belong to Christ.\\u201d 1 Corinthians 6:17, \\u201cBut he who unites himself with the Lord is one with Him in spirit.\\u201d

Before\\nJesus returned to glory, He told His followers that they would feel\\ndestitute like orphans (John 14:18). Therefore, He promised that He\\nwould not leave permanently but would be with and in them as the Spirit\\nof Truth (John 14:16,17). Jesus told the worried disciples: \\u201cAnd I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter [parakletos], that He may abide with you forever\\u201d (John 14:16). The word "another" is from words meaning \\u2018more of the same\\u2019 \\u2013 not \\u2018different\\u2019.'
