Graves in his Founders Day Chapel a year ago. The book was dedicated to his wife on their \\n\\t\\t40th wedding anniversary as it is in-scripted on the inside cover. Our very own Paul Sorrell is also mentioned in the preface of the book for his work with micro-film and interlibrary loans to \\n\\t\\thelp with the research done on this book. We talked about Dr. Patterson's background in Philadelphia. We discussed Dr. Patterson's background as he was raised in Philadelphia. We also discussed \\n\\t\\this education at Rutgers, Gordon Conwell and later Princeton Theological Seminary. Dr. Patterson talks about how he became interested in J.R. Graves and Baptist History and how this informs his teaching. \\n\\t\\tHe also discusses how he came to teach at Union and his future research interests."
