Ric Thompson and a 41-year career that was always picking up

Hi, this is Eric...

This one was special for me for a few reasons. LeMay Inc. (which included Pierce County Refuse) was a family-run business most of Ric Thompson's 41 years there. And then it was sold to Waste Connections, a much huger garbage company from Wall Street.

For more than four decades, Ric went through all of the changes in the politics, equipment, recycling demands, etc. He is of a generation that kind of has seen it all in how your waste gets engineered. He was a pioneer.
