Emily Peterson shares of her experience when her 14 month old Grace was diagnosed with Leukemia. Her husband Josh was in the middle of medical school.  She shares what the experience was like in the height of covid and how they had to keep their daughter safe. Taking care of Grace became a full time job, managing all her chemotherapy and medications Josh ended up taking a year off school.  Many people were able to help them in very creative ways through this difficult journey.  This experience taught her how no one is insignificant, we can all help lighten others burdens by showing up and showing we care.
