Cyber security is affecting local governments around the world. Ransomware, phishing, and data breaches are just a couple of the issues that are facing cities and counties. A little cyber hygiene can go a long way to protecting valuable information and Rita Reynolds will tell you all about it.

Rita Reynolds is the CTO for the National Association f Counties (NACo). She oversees the internal technology operations of NACo, and leads NACo’s technology programs and initiatives for counties. Before joining NACo, Rita served as the CIO for the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Political Science from Messiah College and several certifications, including the Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO). Rita has been the receipt of numerous awards over the years including the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania’s 2019 Moxie Award, and the Government Technology’s 2017 Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers.
