This is our SXSW show. We start with Natalia Linares, who was in charge of SOL LIFE SXSW— an official SXSW showcase featuring the next generation of modern cross-cultural sounds. Also joining us is Jessica Reeves, the COO of Voto Latino. At SXSW Interactive, Voto Latinos announced the launch of a new app which allow people to scan their ID to register to vote. We close the show with Ovarian Psycos. The documentary about the all-female bicycle collective from East LA made its feature debut at SXSW Film with a total of three packed showings. Directed by Kate Trumbull-LaValle and Joanna Sokolowski, the documentary follows the group of predominately young Latina women referred to as “Ovas.”
