Last Friday, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away. This is significant for many reasons, regardless of political opinions, RBG was a trailblazer for women and one of the most influential people in modern U.S. history.

RBG passed at a time of polarized politics in America and as the leader of the liberal bloc of the United States Supreme Court, her death is significant because it creates an opportunity to establish a conservative court for years to come.

One of the primary responsibilities of the president is to nominate a member of the supreme court to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

Should President Trump nominate a Supreme court justice before elections, or should he wait until the next term and let whoever is elected president decide?
