On today\'s episode, I speak with Enrique Acevedo, the first Latino correspondent in the history of 60 minutes. Enrique has covered news around the world like Fidel Castro\'s funeral, the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa, the humanitarian crisis in Haiti and the drug wars in Mexico and Latin America. He co-moderated Univision\'s Democratic Presidential Debate in 2016 and led the network\'s electoral coverage along Maria Elena Salinas and Jorge Ramos. He has interviewed President Barack Obama, Melinda Gates, various Nobel Peace Prize winners, and more. On this episode, Enrique talks about his journey to 60 minutes, his passion for storytelling, why knowing when to listen and being empathetic are some of our greatest tools, and why Latinx representation in the media matters.
