What can the evolution of our species Homo sapiens, tell us about the ways in which we could meet challenges facing us, like climate change? As a grandmother, Ramona Koval wanted to understand her fellow human beings better in order to predict how we might deal with our looming climate threat. To do that she travelled back in time consulting a bevy of experts from around the world, comparing us to our ancestors, and meeting people who are pushing boundaries in order to find ways of expanding life into the future.
