More sleeper berth flexibility? FMCSA takes a look

LLN (1/15/21) – A new FMCSA pilot program will examine whether more flexibility in the split-sleeper berth provision will work in trucking. Also, over the years truck makers have moved to lighter weight materials for many parts of the vehicles they produce. But plastic parts in particular have some disadvantages – and in the aftermarket, real problems. And Jon Osburn says truckers are upset about closed restaurants, and curious about where and when they’ll have access to a COVID-19 vaccination.
