Courts stops enforcement of AB5

LLN (1/2/20) – OOIDA has long said the future of independent contractors would ultimately be decided in the courts, and this week a federal judge has stopped enforcement of California’s new contractor law. Also, we’ll have regulatory highlights from 2019, including hours of service reform, entry-level driver training and automated vehicles. And Wyoming lawmakers may consider whether to allow tolls on Interstate 80 there, while Missouri considers changes to several trucking laws.
