A lot of films we watch are just a story that may or more likely than not-- may not have happened, but you don’t feel different when you leave it behind. I can watch Speed (the movie) all day long, I’ve seen it over 200 times, but I’m not a different person because of it. It’s just a movie. I love Jack and his dedication to saving the passengers on a bus, but it’s so disconnected from myself. This film says something. I feel like the first film said “you can do anything if you have the right circumstances” but this film I felt like it was a reminder that sometimes unanswered prayers are something to be thankful for. Be careful what you wish for, you might get it.” Loved the invisible plane - lost the coffee cup lol Loved how inspiring she was to young children in the opening scene. I hope we see the little girl she threw into the teddy bears in the future as a grown up.  Confused about the electricity in the water not hurting diana? Glad they showed the amazons again. Super glad to see Lynda Carter as an amazon (loved that she wasn’t in heels!) A bit annoyed at the triteness of her love. Like why? A bit annoyed that we don’t learn more about the story of the artifact A bit annoyed at the reality of men accosting women constantly. Not much has changed since the 80’s there.  I enjoyed seeing wonder woman tired. I felt it.  I wish we had seen her modern day again.
