News - NASA Explorer School Program Lets Kids Reach For The Stars 10.02.15

When you think of NASA you might conger up images of the Hubble Telescope, a Mars Rover, or American Astronauts on the Moon. But NASA also has a close relationship to public education through the NASA Explorer School Program. Two central Texas Schools, G.W. Carver Academy and West Ward Elementary in Killeen, were deemed NASA Explorer Schools in 2004, and their continued connection with NASA still enriches learning.
