On this episode of Kickin' & Streamin', political blogger Patrick Phillips joins Graham & Jocelyn to discuss the untimely death of rapper Nipsey Hussle and the unexpected outpouring of love and support for his art, his music, and his service to his community, (4:15), Patrick begins by telling us how, how even though he considers himself to be a huge "Hip Hop head," he knew very little about Nipsey until his death. Patrick also talks about how he went on to learn more about Nipsey through the testimony of a old friend with background in the Los Angeles neighborhood where Nispey came up, who also once met the late rapper for a discussion about business, (10:44), Jocelyn, Graham & Patrick discussed further about Nipsey's activism and investment in his community, as well as his earlier involvement in the gang culture of L.A., (23:53),\\xa0Jocelyn & Graham have an in-depth discussion about Jordan Peele's acclaimed movie "Us," (24:14) Jocelyn enjoyed the movie, but she wasn't terribly impressed; Graham dived into his takeaway of the movie by analyzing the similarity of each character and their respective doppelganger, but Jocelyn feels like Graham saw a completely different movie than she did, (31:52), Graham & Jocelyn agree that the story line became slightly disorganized and aimless toward the latter parts of the movie (58:06), the conversation continues as Graham & Jocelyn agree that perhaps Jordan Peele wanted moviegoers to draw their own conclusion about the movie.\\xa0\\xa0
