On this episode of Kickin' & Streamin' Podcast Jocelyn brings us a list of her favorite murder mystery and horror films of all time. Graham begins by highlighting his lack of expertise and sometimes reluctance to watching murder mystery and horror movies, but in order to establish this episode as a yearly Halloween tradition on this podcast, he promised to be better prepared next time around. Jocelyn went over some delightful British murder mystery series based on characters created from the novels of Agatha Christie. Jocelyn attributed her love for murder mystery films and novels to her late father who was an avid reader of every subject and enjoyed researching for his own satisfaction. Jocelyn also expressed gratitude to the access she had to public television as on of four TV channels available to her while growing up in rural Maryland. Graham & Jocelyn marveled at the irony of how fans of public radio and Public TV are looked upon as "pretentious" and "elitist," while those who can afford to pay for cable and satellite radio and TV aren't judged or deemed elitist. Jocelyn went on to talk in detail about each and every movie and TV series on her list, specifically about the year of release, the cast, and a brief synopsis of said films and series, avoiding any spoilers.
