Joel Creasey opens up on gay players in the AFL

b'Comedian Joel Creasey has commented on the difficulties confronting a gay footballer in coming out publicly, after revealing he had a sexual affair with a \\u201cbloody good\\u201d current AFL player.


Creasey made the revelation in his new book, \\u2018Thirsty: Confessions of a Fame Whore\\u2019 and told Jodie & Soda whilst it would be difficult to come out as an AFL player he hopes it won\\u2019t be long until a player comes out. \\u201cI\\u2019ve been sitting in the stands of football and heard awful things said so I understand \\u201cI think the time is ripened and I think whoever comes out will be doing an amazing thing and you know give me a call!\\u201d'
