b"Carter Conlon\\xa0(born 1953) is a Canadian-born American pastor and author. He is best known as the outgoing senior pastor of\\xa0Times Square Church\\xa0in\\xa0New York City.\\xa0Conlon was born and raised in\\xa0Noranda, Quebec. He graduated from\\xa0Carleton University\\xa0in\\xa0Ottawa, Ontario\\xa0where he received a bachelor's degree in law and sociology. In 1987, he left his 12-year career as a police officer to enter full-time\\xa0ministry. He founded a church, a Christian school, and a food bank in\\xa0Riceville, Canada. He owned and operated a sheep farm as well.[2]\\xa0During those years, he also traveled throughout the country\\u2014speaking at various churches from\\xa0Prince Edward Island\\xa0to\\xa0Alberta, to the\\xa0Inuit\\xa0in the Arctic."
