We look at Shinoda's version of the classic Japanese novel Silence and compare his version with the Martin Scorcese version. This provides one of the richest, most thoughtful conversations we've ever done on Movienauts - one of those chats where we seem to get to deeper and more thoughtful levels of insight which allow us to appreciate these films even more. We think this is a good listen, even if you haven't watched either version of Silence.
