Starting a new series here on Movienauts, Jason and Paul will be looking back at the classic filmography of the great David Cronenberg. What better place is there to start than his first two features, Shivers and Rabid. Both have classic Cronenberg hallmarks such as some delightfully bizarre body horror, but both also have a fascinating low-budget Canadian vibe that echoes other classic early '70s horror films.
