I think we\\u2019ve all experienced a moment in our life where a thought or an emotion takes over control the way we feel. Whether it\\u2019s for better or worse, it becomes a runaway train that we\\u2019re a part of and there is no way of getting off. Now of course we\\u2019ll ride that train to the end if its a high high and we feel great BUT what if the thought or situation makes us feel sad, unmotivated or any other unwanted emotion? Well, we\\u2019re going to be looking for an exit strategy as soon as possible.
Today I want to talk about the power of mindfulness and the steps we can take that will allow for us to gain control of our feelings. By being better equipped for dealing with unwanted emotions or thoughts, we can recognize, accept, investigate & become non-attached to whatever arises in our mind. Mindfulness is an incredibly important skill for us to develop & one that we\\u2019ll be able to utilize for the rest of our lives.
