We are at the end of the road for our first Overkill series. We have discussed every entry of the Scream franchise, and it has all led to season 2 of the MTV series. After discussing each entry we try and answer whether or not we are still in on this franchise or if at this point it is overkill. We were surprisingly mostly onboard for season one, but still had many reservations that MTV could successfully adapt this beloved series a second time. We discuss the surprising Halloween special, the more comfortable way the show referencing horror, and what we can expect from season 3. We also discuss Scooby Doo, how boring parents are, and Christian again forces a reference to The OC.\\xa0
