Many years ago, Dominick started an open source project called Starter STS. It has evolved into IdentityServer. It is now the defacto standard if you are doing token-based services. Dominick is very proud of the fact that this project has helped and is still helping so many people.

What first attracted you to a career in I.T.? \\u2013 Dominick\\u2019s father was a software developer, so he was interested in I.T. from an early age.

What\\u2019s the best career advice you received? \\u2013 Focus on the one thing you are most interested in.

What\\u2019s the worst career advice you received? \\u2013 Learn as many things as you can. It just did not suit the way he likes to work.

What would you do if you started your career now? \\u2013 Pick the thing he loves, become expert at it and let the world know about his expertise.

What are your current career objectives? \\u2013 Dominick has just founded a product company. So, he wants to get better at that.

What\\u2019s your number one non-technical skill? \\u2013 Being good at explaining complicated things.

How do you keep your own career energized? \\u2013 Dominick takes a lot of breaks and finds working in a natural outdoor environment to be very energising.

What do you do away from technology? \\u2013 Dominick loves family activities, camping, barbecues, beer and whiskey.
