Shemi Zarhin was born in Tiberias in 1961, and is a novelist, film director, and screenwriter who has created some of the most critically acclaimed and award-winning films in the history of Israeli cinema, including\\xa0Bonjour Monsieur Shlomi\\xa0(2003),\\xa0Aviva My Love\\xa0(2006), and\\xa0The World is Funny\\xa0(2012).\\xa0He now teaches filmmaking at the Sam Spiegel School in Jerusalem.\\xa0Some\\xa0Day\\xa0is his first novel and was a best-seller in Israel.
