The Iowa City Foreign Relations Council continues its long election-year tradition of inviting political candidates from every party to speak at our luncheons. This program features the second candidate of those who participated. Congressman Dave Loebsack joins the ICFRC for a Political Tailgate and speaks of his views on foreign policy. Dave Loebsack is currently serving his second term in the United States House of Representatives. He represents Iowa's Second Congressional District, which encompasses much of Southeastern Iowa. He serves on The House Education and Labor Committee and The House Armed Services Committee. The Iowa City Foreign Relations Council (ICFRC) is a non-profit community organization that seeks to promote understanding of international issues by hosting community forums with informed speakers from around the world.
