Life Design: Ginny Ryan Buresh

Published: Sept. 24, 2015, 10 a.m.

University students often view college as a means to an end: earn a degree to get a job. But shouldn't it be more? The University of Iowa's Life Design course, led by adjunct lecturer David L. Gould, examines how interests and talents can be paired up to achieve a fulfilling life.

The course draws upon the work of well-known psychologists, motivational speakers, and sociologists. This program features a presentation by Ginny Ryan Buresh, MD, MA. Ginny is a physician at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the co-founder of Girls on the Run Johnson County (now Girls on the Run Eastern Iowa).

Presented by the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies.
