In this first episode of two, we go in a slightly different direction and discuss the impact of the Rise of Islam and the Early Muslim Conquests. Specifically, this is broken down into three parts: 

• The world prior to Islam
• How Islam rose in Arabia
• The early Muslim conquests. 

To aid in this analysis, they are discussed with a fellow historian who has studied this period extensively. Together, we break down these three parts and talk about the international significance and how this has affected the world to the modern-day. This will continue in Part 2 where further conquests are discussed.
