Barry Bolding, VP of Marketing and Business Development at Cray, announces that Intel, Cray, and the Department of Energy are collaborating on the delivery and installation of one of the biggest supercomputers in the world. He discusses how Cray is working to help its’ customers tackle the most challenging supercomputing, data analytics, storage, and data management problems possible. The 180 PetaFLOPS Aurora system will help solve some of the most complex challenges that the Department of Energy faces today from material science and fluid dynamics to modeling more efficient solar cells and reactors.
