Michelle is Anishnaabekwe with Polish and Bulgarian heritage. Having experienced the impacts of intergenerational trauma from a young age, Michelle experienced many upheavals including living on the streets of Toronto from the age of 12 to 16. She is now clean and living a lifelong journey of healing, and self-discovery. She has spent the last two years in the non-profit sector working to help those walking in the shoes she once occupied.
