The born-and-raised New Yorker came to Sumter by way of Dallas, Texas, where he was a program managing director of leadership development with Teaching Trust, which training and support to transform public schools in Texas, and he has teaching and leadership roles with four of the nation\\u2019s highest-performing public charter schools. SJ and Dr. Graham talk everything from the basics of what a charter school even is to the specifics of what he looks for in a leader.
