She discusses how after having spent time in Australia and the Netherlands, she was done with expat life. That’s until she met her Czech husband. April left her native Provincetown, MA to live in Prague and through a series of circumstances, she became well known in the Czech art scene. She discusses how her life as an expat and family have influenced her paintings, and how even in difficult situations -such as the ongoing pandemic, her art work attempts to offer positivity to those experiencing it.
