Mifrah Abid moved to Canada from India a few years ago. She always believed in social justice. When the pandemic hit, she faced a challenge in her career as a teacher, so she pivoted and started a podcast called Across Her Table, where she interviews immigrant women. Due to her podcast, she gained the experience she needed to apply for a job as an anti-racism/ anti-islamophobia advocate. Now, she doesn't see herself doing anything differently.
