Learn more about Lalaine Aquino-Rizzotto Photo by M.Ventura I immigrated to Toronto from Manila, the Philippines in 1990 through the Live-in Caregiver Program. I was 18. I moved because I wanted a better life for my family. I love challenges and thought this would be a good one to take on. It wasn't just a good one. It was a HUGE one! It took me some time to adjust and adapt but I can say that it was the best decision I could have ever made. I'm very happy with the outcome and it made me the person that I am today. Besides taking on challenges, I love to cook, play volleyball, watch our Toronto sports teams, travel with family and all the other things we used to do prior to this pandemic.!
