What happens when a company innovates a new way of doing something? Something that’s intangible, maybe its a process or a software feat? With tangible things like engines, toasters and refrigerators, you can patent your thing, to protect yourself while you work on selling it, thus giving an incentive for people to want to innovate. Well the same is true for software as well, but does it really help innovation? Or does it stifle it? With us this week is Justin Petruzzelli to discuss the pros and cons of IP law.
