Join us for part one of our two-part discussion on one of the greatest cinematic stories of all time, the Skywalker Saga.  We are so happy to have our official Star Wars expert, Maddie Kay Ray, back again to join in on the discussion.

As always, we kick off with the sh*t we liked this week.  We were incredibly moved by Representative Ayanna Pressley's courageous announcement regarding her battle with alopecia.  The world is a dumpster fire right now, so we thought it might be nice to double up on the sh*t we liked.  Our special guest Maddie shared why she's digging Netflix's The Witcher.

Next, we start our deep dive into the topic of the week - the Skywalker Saga.  We kick off by sharing what we love about the Star Wars universe.  We are a little weary of the fandom wank, so we spent a bit of time talking about the fandom wars and the recent social media kerfuffle with John Boyega. 

Once we get past the mess, we each share our rankings of the Star Wars movies.  Empire Strikes Back, A New Hope, and The Last Jedi all ranked pretty high for us.  We will return next Wine Wednesday to discuss our thoughts on the controversial The Rise of Skywalker and things get a little thirsty as we delve into our Star Wars crushes.
