After Idaho House lawmakers rejected a $6 million federal grant to support child care and pre-k education last week, a group of mostly women gathered at the statehouse steps to protest. The measure failed by two votes last week, but it could be taken up again and passed through the legislature if enough lawmakers change their minds.
