Have you ever had an experience with an older person where they insisted (sometimes in a maniacal way) that you knew nothing just because you were young? Did they also figure they reigned supreme simply because of their number of years on Earth?  I've had SEVERAL experiences like this. I don't believe it's necessary to be torn down, disrespected, or dismissed because I am a young person. EVERYONE has a story! Everyone has wisdom to share.
