You hear it all the time "We are our ancestors' wildest dreams" BUT in what ways? . . I thought about this for a while-that phrase has always stunned me! The conversation is often surrounding getting degrees, working a job, or getting a "bag" but you know me, what about your soul hun? Did they really dream of us doing MORE labor? . . Maybe it’s self-soothing to justified the rampant capitalism we innately surrender to….but let me re-focus! . . All I’ll say is knowing MY and OUR people, hearing the stories about how outspoken, direct, driven and unique they were, I think back to my direct ancestors and what their dreams would be for me based on who they were as individuals. . .
