In our last episode of 2020 we talk about a topic that has very much been on our minds and been a bit of an elephant in the room when it comes to University Challenge: Diversity. Yvonne takes the lead to talk about why diversity is important, what might be the current stumbling blocks and what could be done to address this. We might not have the answers, but we do have the confidence that students have the means to address at least some of the concerns we bring up.

In any case, we hope that you had a Merry Christmas if you celebrate, and a lovely day if you do not, and happy New Year! We will meet again next year as we finish off the second round of Season 50 of University Challenge.
