This week, I bumped into Ibtisam Habib, founder of Hijabeefied.

Hijabeefied was created to empower Muslim women and later East African women to live their best lives and not fall for societal peer pressure.  We chat on why she started her channel and how she built a following of 44k , Racism in the Arab culture, Patriarchy, why hijabs are controversial to the west and in true I Bumped into style we go deep. We get to know who through asking questions such as:

-          If she were to give a TED a Talk, what would she talk about,

-          If there is anything she is holding onto that she needs to let go of and other interesting questions where we get to know this Superwomen.

I really enjoyed bumping into Ibtisam and having this insightful conversation around being muslim women, Arab culture & islamophobia amongst the many other topics we touch on. If you find a particular part of this episode interesting, let us know, my team and I are always willing to hear your views and learn, comment & share it with someone who may need to hear it.  Remember to stay safe and continue to light up the dark.
