BRO. ROB TAPLING; HE'S GODT FAVOR!!

b'Rob Tapling affectionately known as \\u201cBrother Rob\\u201d a proud Bronx native gained his love of music and the arts early in life through his parents listening to classic R&B by Otis Redding, Bobby blue bland, James brown. That\\u2019s were my love of funk began but strangely enough my singing life began with my babysitting cousins who would play this album called \\u201cCaught up\\u201d by Millie Jackson. They played it so much that I could sing the album word for word. I branched out into music and theatre at Bronx community college were I had my first solo performance singing \\u201csay goodbye to yesterday\\u201d by GC. Cameron and then taking 3rd place at the BCC talent show singing a duet where we actually opened up for Strafe who performedhis hit song \\u201c Set it off \\u201d to close the show.\\xa0

Shortly after that I became a member of the theater workshop and had leading roles in the production of \\u201d Antigone , The Hotel Baltimore, The Boys from Syracuse and Tribute Langston Hughes\\u201d where I sang\\u201d God bless the child\\u201d.\\xa0

I\\u2019ve written and Produced my own play called \\u201cLove Is\\u201d in 2007 while fronting the groups Men in Christ who were featured on Video music box\\u201d and recognized by the Bronx times for our standout performances. As a member of the Legendary Chords, I recorded the songs \\u201cHeart of gold\\u201d and Old Days. Currently through Hiya Level Entertainment productions the play \\u201cBreak the chains, the independent film \\u201d Spades \\u201c and my first solo project \\u201cEternity\\u201d with the song I GODt favor" leading the way for 2016-2017 .'
