Michael has been involved with the sport of CrossFit from the early days having competed at the 2009 & 2010 CF Games in California after being exposed to the methodology by his brother James Fitzgerald (OPEX) winner of the first CF games in 2007.
Michael runs the highly respected training company Optimum Performance training in Calgary (Canada) where he specialises in coaching elite CrossFit competitors.
